A century of racing !

artlogic was pleased to assist its European clients with the set-up and take down of several projects in Le Mans, France during Le Mans 24 Hours as well as Le Mans Classic. Our teams of local stagehands were on site and excited to work on such a world-renowned event!

This year, Le Mans 24 Hours celebrated its 100th anniversary on 10+11 June 2023. Le Mans 24 Hours, which was first held in 1923 is a legendary car race held annually. As stated on their website, “the 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the world’s oldest motor races and is admired around the globe. The 24 Hours of Le Mans was created by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, a motoring organisation founded in 1906. The first race was held on 26-27 May 1923 on a circuit near Le Mans. The competition was designed to boost and promote technical innovation and to encourage the development of the automotive industry.”

A special edition of Le Mans Classic also took place as part of the centenary celebrations. Created in 2002, it offers an incredible retrospective of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours. In 2023, there were more than 800 racing cars dating from 1923 to 2010. Le Mans Classic attracted 235,000 spectators for its 11th edition, a record-breaking weekend!
