Major commitment for gamescom 2024

Summer brings another trade fair highlight: gamescom is taking place in Cologne again. A large number of our stagehands, steelhands and trained crew leaders with experience of trade fairs will once again be working for several customers on various stages and trade fair presentation booths.

The annual gamescom describes itself as the ‘world’s largest event for computer and video games and Europe’s largest business platform for the games industry’. 

From 21 to 25 August 2024, visitors from all over the world will once again come together on 230,000 square metres of exhibition space with exhibitors of all kinds from the digital entertainment industry, an extensive programme and a wide variety of shows and presentations. This year, there are signs of a further increase in exhibitor numbers; according to the organisers, exhibitors from over 60 countries are expected. 

The first published press release on gamescom 2024 reports ‘One thing is already clear: gamescom 2024 will once again be the games festival of superlatives. What stands out in particular is that gamescom is becoming even more international.’ 

The last gamescom in 2023 attracted 320,000 visitors and over 1,200 exhibitors. The trade fair also took place extensively online at the same time. According to the organisers, the streams reached 180 million views.
